Following the completion of the Independent Assurance Review, the organisation will receive an Independent Assurance Review Report which details the findings of the review, this is the Final Assessment. Government Security Group will then work with your organisation to develop a Targeted Improvement Plan.

The Targeted Improvement Plan will outline a prioritised list of areas for remediation that have been discussed and agreed between Government Security Group and the organisation. This will be based on the findings of the Independant Assurance Review but will also take into account where organisations are on their security improvement journey. The Targeted Improvement Plan will be used to highlight to senior decision makers where significant security gaps lie and where prioritisation for funding remediation efforts should be focused.

Support from the Government Security Centre for Cyber may be available to some organisations as they implement the interventions identified in the Targeted Improvement Plan.
